On another exciting note, I finished my socks! And I LOVE them! They are my best pair yet...both in execution and in comfort. Hurrah!
Details: Lorna's Laces Shepard Sport gifted to me by Dominique
Pattern: Columbine Peaks (without the peaks, given the pattern mishap) from "Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles"
And, because I was remiss in my last post: The baby bath mitt was knit in Araucania Nature Cotton using the mitten pattern from Ann Budd's "Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns." I used the mitten pattern for the gauge of my yarn. I knit an i-cord out of dishcloth cotton to create the fish.

So Kahla wouldn't let me edit her post while she was logged in. No fun whatsoever. I could have revealed the truth to everyone about the LONG process of knitting those darn socks...
They keep her feet warm, which makes her happy, and that's all that counts.
Oh, about the beer. It's a bit fruity for those of you who are wondering. If you are a traditional sort, this brew probably isn't for you.
wow those socks were long in coming ;)
they look great!
Yeah for Leinenkugels making it to New England. I, unfortunately, cannot share in your joy as I prefer anything other than beer. If Sunset Wheat is here...your favorites will be available soon (I hope).
Love the socks!

Love the colors--glad you finished them before winter ended!
You did a great job on the socks! And that colorway matches EVERYTHING *GRIN*
